FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
In these FAQs we try to answer common questions about appraisal work. If you don't find what you need, send us your question and we'll get back to you.
We generally offer three types of appraisal valuation:
Inventory Appraisal — used when an accurate asset listing does not exist. This approach requires a detailed inventory and inspection of all the assets in person.
Site Inspection Appraisal — involves a detailed inspection of a representative portion of the assets. This inspection is used to determine the physical condition and to verify the existence of major assets.
Desktop Appraisal — used when there isn't much time, or a site visit is not required. A detailed asset listing must be provided and someone familiar with the assets should be available to discuss their condition. In almost all desktop valuations, images are required and supplied by the client.
